Loadstar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation
•March 7, 2009 • Leave a CommentToday I shot another forum for the Loadstar center which is associated with Arizona State University. The Loadstar center is doing some great work in the nonprofit realm. I enjoyed listening to the speakers, meeting new people, and seeing some familiar faces today. Of course, all of that was in between shooting the event. I do need to throw out a disclaimer. I hate using a flash, especially at something like this where it is so distracting. So I shot with a high ISO when inside and did my best to deal with the awful lighting. On the bright side (no pun intended) the lighting outside was amazing! Here are a few that I liked.

Special on Portrait Session!
•March 2, 2009 • Leave a Comment
For those of you who know me, you are aware that I am going to Rwanda for 8 weeks in April with the nonprofit organization Food For the Hungry (click here for more info). I am still raising money for my time there and thought it would be great if I could generate extra income for the trip through photography.
So, from now until the end of March I will be running a special on portrait sessions. For a forty-five minute, one location, session, it is only $99! That covers the shoot as well as a cd with 20 high quality, edited images.
When you contact me you have the option of signing up for Saturday March 28th, or Saturday April 11th. Time slots will be in 45 minute increments from 8-12 and 3-5:30. First come first served.
For specials on group, family and couple pricing, please contact me.
Once the times fill up the offer ends so act soon! Contact me at cmaddox@gomaddphotography.com

Thank you all for your support, both in my photography business and in my involvement in nonprofit organizations. It has been a blessing serving you all!
February in Rocky Point
•March 1, 2009 • Leave a CommentAnother weekend in Rocky Point has come and gone as I led another Love God Love People trip last weekend. It was a great trip, and we were able to leverage the time there and make a positive impact. For more information on the trip visit my blog at chrismaddoxblog.com or the LGLP blog at thelglpsite.com
Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the trip.

Fore!
•December 26, 2008 • Leave a CommentMy grandpa was in town from Missouri for a few days this past week. The old man can still swing a golf club, I found this out when golfing with him, my dad and my brother. We had a lot of fun competing with each other, goofing off, and just enjoying a relaxing day. Here are a few shots from our round of golf.
